Fleet

The numbers we run to.

These are operating standards — what every station commits to, every day, at any volume. Not a good week’s average.

How the fleet is built

More drivers than routes. Always.

Coverage is only a standard if the roster is deeper than the schedule. So the bench is funded, the relief layer is funded, and recruiting never stops.

Owner-operators

Drivers run their own vehicles — sedans to cargo vans, matched to the route — and are checked, insured and certified before their first solo day.

Four on the bench, minimum

Cleared, insured, app-ready drivers who are not on the day’s schedule and can be called in with one morning phone call.

Relief at 20% of volume

Every schedule carries a funded relief layer computed from the day’s packages, not from headcount.

Recruiting as a standing function

It runs every week whether or not a station is short, so capacity is there when volume shows up.

The station day

The station day, gate by gate.

Each gate has a time, an owner and a written response if it slips. The station executes; it doesn’t improvise.

Service

What the customer at the door sees.

98.5%

Same-day completion

Delivered on the assigned day, measured against the full manifest — not against what got loaded.

The industry contract line is 97%. We hold a point and a half above it on a rolling fourteen days, so a hard day is absorbed instead of reported.

99.97%

Photo-proof compliance

Label, GPS and building on every delivery, plus the frames the drop scenario needs.

Audited in real time by a QC desk, not at month end. A bad photo is fixed while the driver is still on route.

98.8%

Delivery success

Delivered against attempted, every cause counted.

Access is the usual excuse. We call every gated property in the station’s ZIPs in month one and keep a shared access register the whole crew uses.

98%

On-time depot arrival

In the building by 5:55, work at 6:00, wheels at 8:45, clear by 9:00.

Arrival is the heaviest-weighted line in driver pay, at 30%. We pay for it, so we get it.

Operating standards · 02

Reliability

Whether the route goes out. Every day. Without being asked.

100%

Route coverage

Every committed route is fielded.

The only acceptable miss rate on this line is zero. A route that doesn’t go out is a full manifest of broken promises.

4+

on the bench, always

Bench depth

Cleared, insured, app-ready drivers not on the day’s schedule.

One morning call activates them. The bench is maintained every week, not rebuilt when it’s needed.

100%

Night-before confirmation

Every scheduled driver confirms by 8:00 PM the evening before.

No answer counts as a no, and the bench is called that night. Tomorrow’s gap is closed at nine in the evening, not at ten to six.

95%

Gate adherence

A published gate ladder from 5:40 lead arrival to 9:00 building clear.

Each gate has an owner and a written response if it slips. Departure time drives completion, so it’s managed to the minute.

30

minutes

Departure to first scan

Measured on every driver, every day.

Most operators never measure it and lose an hour a day they can’t account for. We track it and follow up the same day.

0

Carryover

Nothing rolls to tomorrow.

Undeliverables are formally returned the same day. Every morning starts clean; the manifest you hand us is the manifest we deliver.

An unscanned-package report before any vehicle moves.

Discrepancies are settled on the floor, not discovered on a scorecard.

Relief layer

Funded relief computed from the day’s packages, not from headcount.

At 5:00 PM anyone holding more than 35 stops gets support automatically. Completion is protected by design.

Surge headroom

The extra daily volume the station could absorb tomorrow without hiring.

Tracked and published. Placing volume shouldn’t involve guessing.

Certification

Day zero, supervised, solo under review, certified.

Drivers advance on consecutive clean routes, not on elapsed time. Recruiting never pauses, so capacity exists before the volume arrives.

What protects the package, the public and your name.

100%

Insurance currency

Commercial auto with a delivery endorsement on every active driver, verified weekly.

A lapse is an immediate stop-work. Company-level: $1MM general liability and $1MM hired and non-owned auto per station, with a certificate naming the carrier.

100%

Background and MVR currency

Checked at onboarding and kept current on a rolling basis.

Not a one-time gate.

0

Incidents

Tracked per 10,000 stops.

Normalized to stops, not miles — the honest unit for owner-operator work.

97.2%

Claims-free delivery

Delivered without a loss or damage claim.

Custody is tracked from gaylord to door; every custody change is logged and escalated the same day.

<28

Customer complaints

Tracked by cause, not just count.

So the fix lands on the right process.

Every one

Chargeback appeals

Reviewed against our own proof record and appealed where the evidence supports it.

Complete photo documentation wins the appeals that an incomplete record absorbs.

Why the numbers hold

Five numbers a day. Nothing reconstructed.

Every driver reports expected, received, delivered, failed and returns-in-hand by voice at route close. Every figure on this page is computed from that feed.

  • 1Expected
  • 2Received
  • 3Delivered
  • 4Failed
  • 5Returns in hand

Built to replicate

One clock, one proof standard, one escalation path, one reporting cadence — at every station, on day one.

That is why the standards travel: a new market isn’t a new operation, it’s the same one installed somewhere else.
